Peter W. Busch


As the proud owner of Southern Eagle Distributing, father of six and husband of 35 years, Peter has molded his business into an industry leader, community partner and family business.  “Knowing that my son Philip will spark growth for the next 29 years here at Southern Eagle reinforces why my family was so successful at growing Anheuser-Busch.  It’s just who we are” said Peter.

Philip A. Busch


Philip Busch began his career at Southern Eagle Distributing in 2000, working in the mechanic shop. From there he received his BA in Business Management from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he also worked part time for Brown Distributing in their sign department. After graduating, Philip returned to SED to jump on the trucks and assume a position with the delivery department. During the next few years he worked as brand development and team merchandiser, and then decided to work for Anheuser-Busch Sales of San Diego. While there, he worked in sales, and stayed until 2009.


Philip returned to SED, bringing with him new energy and new ideas. After spending time in a sales analysis and an on-premise sales manger role, Philip and his father, Peter Busch, agreed he was ready to assume the General Manager position. Peter Busch was ready to retire from the day to day work at SED and begin a new company, Prost.


Philip is now the President of SED and is committed to making SED the best workplace for his team members. He knows that they are foundation for the success of SED, and he is dedicated to providing a positive work environment. Philip takes pride in having high standards for his company, believing that “we should be the best in our industry and maintain the highest quality of standards and performance.”

Having been raised in Vero Beach, Philip is committed to the Treasure Coast community, and his company will continue to work on behalf of the charities and people in the community. He is an active member with, The Boys and Girls Club of SLC, Castle, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, PWBusch Family Foundation, an observer for Anheuser-Busch Panel, beach cleanups, and food drives.


Philip and his wife, Shannon, are raising son Gus in Vero Beach, Florida, where Philip is also father to daughters Kate and Julia.

Paul Trabulsy


Paul has been the Vice President/CFO at Southern Eagle since 1990. Prior to joining Southern Eagle, he worked for Peat Marwick Main accounting firm as a CPA within their auditing division. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1984 and from there to become a Certified Public Accountant in 1987. Paul is married to Dana and has a beautiful blended family consisting of his two children, Michael & Kristen and Dana’s children, Tyler & Maria. His hobbies include all types of fishing, hunting, outdoor activities and socializing with friends and family.

Dane is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Southern Eagle since 2013. Prior to Southern Eagle Distributing, he worked at Anheuser Busch InBev and Great Bay Distributors. He graduated with a Masters of Business Administration with honors and a B. A. in Business Administration and Communications from West Virginia University. Dane is also a certified MBAA Beer Steward, and Cicerone beer certified. He has a  beautiful wife Bernadette and is a father to daughter Mila and a has a son on the way.  His hobbies include Spartan and Tough Mudder races, Crossfit, biking, volunteering in community & church events, and other outdoor activities.


Dane A. Jones


Gerry has served as the Vice President of Human Resources, since 2013.  He has over 34 years of HR experience, with organizations within the Beverage, Banking, and Health Care industries.  He and his wife, Mendi, have been married for over 30 years.  They have three boys, Neil, Vince and Mac.

Steve has worked at Southern Eagle as one of our leading Mechanics for 23 years. In 2013 he took over the role of Fleet Manager which overseas our entire fleet consisting of semi loaders, draft trailers, and company vehicles. He is an expert in this field and has worked in the transportation industry for over 30 years. He is a huge asset to our company and keeps the wheels rolling so we can get the beer in the hands of our consumers. He and his beautiful wife (Lori) of 28 years and two children (Kristen and Cody) spend most of their time with friends doing outdoor activities.

Steve Butala


Willie joined Southern Eagle on April 1, 1984.  He has been a dedicated employee from day one.  He serves as our Operations Director.  Willie has held numerous positions at Southern Eagle.  He started as a Peddle Salesman and rose through the ranks to serve as Delivery Driver, Pre-Salesman, Team Supervisor, Sales Team Leader, Delivery Team Leader, Director of Account Services, Warehouse Manager and currently holds the title of Operations Director. He oversees the day-to-day activities to make sure Southern Eagle runs smoothly.

Willie Rountree

SAFETY Director

Gerrit has been at Southern Eagle since 2011. He has held multiple positions at Southern Eagle including Delivery Helper, Administration Cashier, and Delivery Manager. Gerrit is now our Operations Logistics Manager and controls the efficiency of our freight. He was born, raised, and resides in Vero Beach with his wife Stephanie, daughter Bianka, and they are expecting a son in June, 2017.

Brandon joined the Southern Eagle team as the Administration Manager shortly after leaving the U.S. Army in 2012. He plays an essential role in leading Southern Eagle to succeed, and excel in all aspects of the beer distribution business. He facilitates driving efficiencies, while upholding the highest standards of conduct in the sale and delivery of fresh products throughout the Treasure Coast.
